I am multi-tasking, TV viewing, feet kicked up and a warm laptop on the sofa. I love to surf like this after a hard day.

In my head, my swearing would make a sailor blush I don't know why I can't let it go, but I am a curse-aholic in my thoughts. Unfortunatly, I let a few 4 letter words, s### and da#n, slip in front of the kids, immediately followed by, "that's a bad word, mama shouldn't have said that". Nothing like hearing your 5 year old curse at a problem and know its your fault for giving him the idea.
For private entertainment, sometimes hubby and I will when the kids are in bed and we need to shock each other and get a kick out of it.
I guess I am a "closet" swearer. I try to never swear in front of anyone but myself. -

Caught Wife Cheating
by roflcopter inso i posted a while back about my marriage problems.... whole new gambit thrown into the mix.
i've had suspicions all along that something like this might be happening... but only just not confirmed that she's been cheating on me... with another jw that she works with!
she could have been more discreet about it rather than leave all the text messages on her phone.

I am so sad for you.
You are right about being glad there are no children involved!
I can only say that her repentance doesn't sound sincere if she won't meet your reasonable demands of changing jobs and avoiding her adultery partner. I feel she should be groveling at your feet begging for forgiveness for such a sin against your marriage, ready to do all she can to earn back your love and trust. But as another poster mentioned, only you know the surrounding circumstances and what is really going on. -

Who is your favorite animated cartoon character?
by gaiagirl inmy favorite would have to be marvin the martian (first appearance 1948).
everything about him cracks me up, from his roman gladiator helmet and kilt, to the way he walks and speaks ("that makes me angry, very angry indeed"), to the ultra cool devices he uses (suprisingly, from acme, who apparantly has outlets on mars).
a very close second, almost a tie, would have to go to droopy (first appearance 1943), who also walks and speaks in a humorous manner, and who has abilities far beyond what would be expected from his dimunitive size.

MJ: I think the one with tennis shoes was the red haired monster. With the huge part right down the center! I can't remember much about the character who said "....and call him George". Looney Toons were my life. I was lucky. Dad not a jw and every saturday morning spent watching all the old classics. I remember dad watching with us. Kitten Whiskers

I don't have one in particular, but I like the more obscure characters. Like on Looney Toons, there is a bull dog named Marc Antony with an adorable little black and white kitten who likes to curl up on top of the dog, digging into him with his claws and nestling down to sleep while the dog takes it all without complaint. Also on Looney toons, there is a huge white furry monster, Bigfoot? and he picks up Bugs Bunny and says "I will kiss him and hug him and comb his hair backwards and call him George" I do that to my kids!!!!! The animals who did the work of modern appliances on the Flintstones. The bird inside the camera, the garbage disposal, the elephant who stood outside the window while Wilma used his trunk as the kitchen faucet. I find them funny as an adult more so than as a child. Just a few of mine!!!!

I'm so excited, i'm going to see Beyonce in concert.
by free2think inso i'm going to see madam bootylicious herself in concert in a couple of hours and i just thought i'd share this with you lovely people and ask your opinion.
it has been said that she has become over exposed of late, as she seems to be everywhere.
i don't think so personally, i say good luck to her.

She's absolutely gorgeous. So my defensive female reaction kicks in and says I hate her for it!! LOL I guess I don't really know her by her voice so much as by her popularity and beauty. I think she's one of the most beautiful I've ever seen if not the most beautiful. But then again, I've never seen her without her make-up and all dolled up, like I do my own reflection every morning. I hope you have a great time! It is so much fun to go to a concert or any normal social function and be free to totally enjoy it. I went to a baseball game for the first time, and baby, you should have heard me cheering and shouting. A big no-no for the jw time in my life. But a wonderful feeling to have fun and participate at least a little bit in competition. Sing along, sway and clap your little heart out!

I guess I'd have to say godzilla too. I'm not into monster movies, but when we were in Japan (for hubby's work) we went to Tokyo to see godzilla takes on New York!!! It was in english with japanese sub-titles and they served beer at the theater!!! I thought it was a hilarious situation we found ourselves in.
